On April 14th, 2013, Mike and I began our adventure to hike the entire Continental Divide Trail (CDT) from Mexico to Canada using a car shuttle system. It took us several summers to git r dun! We are considered "section hikers". "Through hikers"
complete a long distance trail in one hiking season.
Our CDT hike:
In this CO gallery the pictures have been arranged in geographical order, from South to North. Many of the pictures are dated, but the dates may not be in geographical order because we jumped around quite a bit. Our goal was to walk every step from Mexico to Canada in whatever order. Mission accomplished!

Our CDT hike:
- Prior to 2013 we completed the 230 mile section of the CDT that is shared with the Colorado Trail. Hiking this section inspired us to hike the entire CDT!
- In 2013 we completed all of NM and WY and some chunks of CO and MT. Altogether about 2000 miles.
- In 2014 we walked about 250 miles in MT
- In 2015 we hiked 500 more miles in MT to finish the entire CDT!
